Reflecting on 2012

So much to be thankful for this 2012... We welcomed our sweet lil Jovie who has truly been a blessing to our family this year. We took a leap of faith and ventured out where we knew God was calling us, so far he has blessed us as we knew he would. We celebrated a huge milestone in our marriage 10th anniversary in Hawaii with some amazing people. My buddy turned the BIG 7 which I still to this day can not believe it. We had some family ups and downs ,but God has brought us threw and only he knows why those situations happened. We found a new church threw some amazing friends and are loving we're God is taking us there. God has brought some amazing people in our life, with new friendships that are blossoming into something beautiful. We are learning some important lessons with good and bad outcomes and all we can do is move on and trust God. Some old friendships are blossoming into something with a deeper meaning and I know God has a purpose for that.

I am so thankful for my family, my mother who is always there to help at a minutes notice. My sister who would drop anything to help me. I can't be anymore blessed then that. My sweet Lexi is growing into a young lady which makes me so sad, she was my first baby and I can't believe how big she is. I love her with all my heart!!!

My husband whom is the love of my life!!! Our new venture who we were quite nervous to start ,but God is good and lead us there. He is less stressed and so much happier, and its so nice to have him hm more. He is such an unselfish man who always wants to put his family first.

My sweet buddy you have grown so much this year, making new friends at school and church. Your are so creative, you can make some crazy things out of your Lego pieces. You have a huge heart with compassion for your friends, your so sensitive and a mommas boy for sure.

My Jovie you are about to turn 7months old your a blessing , your such a happy baby always smiling and laughing!!! You are almost about to crawl , you have gotten up on your knees and pushed off soon I will need to house you in somewhere lol!! You love your baby food, so far you love your squash, apples, bananas & avocados. You are not picky at all with your food you are drinking about 7oz every 3hrs of milk. You sleep from 7:30-8pm to 7:45-8am all night with no feeding or diaper changes. Your such a good girl you love your sleep and mommy and daddy thank you for that.

I have started making bows since Jovie has been born, I am having a blast doing that!! I love being creative and I am on my way to learn how to sew as well. Who knew I would be such a home maker in that sense. My mother in law bought me a new sewing machine, I'm excited to see how I learn all of that. I don't need to make her everything ,but I'm excited to see what I can create for my baby girl. Girls are so fun!!

All in all its been a whirlwind with ups and downs ,but God is good and can get us through any situation. I hold no grudges and no regrets because I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Life is way to short to be angry, impatient,or in a hurry. Take the time to smell the flowers. Tell the people that love you that you love them, because our tomorrow is not promised.

I'm excited to see where God leads us this year!!

I want to better my health, eat healthier and exercise to feel better about myself. I'm enjoying this new venture of blogging, I love the idea of keeping track of the day to day activities of our life. Not necessarily for everyone to read ,but for one day to have my kids read about all the awesome stuff they did as kids. I also love that fact that one day when I go home to be with The Lord my kids will have a lil piece of my heart and writings for them to reflect on. Lets hope I can keep up with it!!
