New Year's Day 2013

After a late night we really didn't have plans for the day ,but I really wanted to take Josiah to the snow. So Ms. Jovie was obviously the first one to wake and as I fed her I was reflecting on a lot of things and felt like we needed to venture and take a lil drive.

So I text Cris and asked them what they had going on today and they stated they didn't have plans so we decided to take a drive. We all got bundled up for the cold weather and off we went. We all piled in the Burban and headed for Wrightwood, Ca!! It's an awesome lil city that is close by and u get to see the snow!!

We didn't know everyone and their mother were gonna have them same idea and go as well. Lol
The traffic was horrible ,but so worth it when we finally got there. It was quite chilly, I was a lil worried about Jovie but she was fine. My dad had bought her this cute lil snowsuit type of onesie and it came in handy we got some good pics of us sledding down the hill.

While we were there Jodi texted us to see if we had plans for dinner and since we didn't she invited us all over for a BBQ! Burgers, fruit, salad, homemade cookies and to top of my calories lol some pecan pie!! Yumm my tummy was happy!!

 Josiah had so much fun and reminisced about other times he had gone to the snow. That kid doesn't forget much!! It made my heart so happy to see him smile. Jovie won't remember ,but we will have pictures of her first time in the snow...sorta!! Lol

What a great way to ring in the new year with family and friends.
