Legoland 2012

So we got some coupons from my friend for buy one get on free to Legoland, seemed like such an awesome deal I couldn't pass it up. Josiah had been asking to go for so long, so Jamie took a day off and we decided to take Lexi and Josiah. Ms. Jovie stayed with her tata , she was so awesome and took a day off from work to watch her so we could go.

For being on a Monday it sure was busy, I think we figured it wouldnt have been that bad but it was busy. It took at least an hour for some rides and a little bit less for others. It was worth it Josiah had so much fun , and since he is so into Legos that it seemed like a perfect place to take him. And what better partner in crime then his sister Lexi.

We got there pretty much when it opened and left when it  closed. What a tiring day that was, I haven't been to an amusement park all day in such a long time. I'm getting old...LOL! We were also able to get into the Aquarium for free with the coupons we had.

So Josiah had never been to circus and my dad wanted to take them so instead he decided to take us all. Jamie was out of town that weekend so Lexi had spent the whole weekend with me to keep me company. It worked out perfectly. It was me, Josiah, my mom, my dad, my sister and Lexi and off we went. We all met up here at my house and piled in my suburban. Jovie stayed with my amazing wonderful friend Cris. She came over and watched her while we went, it was so awesome of her to do that for us. Helped me enjoy my time with my buddy and with my family. Plus Jovie wouldn't have enjoyed it anyways lol. Im pretty sure my dad will take Jovie once she is old enough.
I felt like a kid again it was so much fun, we got awesome seats to.

Fathers Day 2012

Happy Fathers Day to my dad who is my everything my Hero and to my loving wonderful husband who is the best daddy in the world.

Usually every year for Fathers Day we go to my parents church for a fun day of food and games. I was a little hesitant to go just because of Jovie being so little and germs from people wanting to touch her but we went. She slept nicely in her car seat all nicely covered LOL.

The next  morning we served daddy breakfast and let him sleep in and rest. Josiah had a little gift he had made him which I loved and so did he. We ended up having our Fathers Day dinner with The Fifield side at our house because of JOvie. We had BBQ and lots of yummy sides and mom and dad brought dessert too. It ended being such a nice evening of just relaxing and enjoying the newest member of the family.

So with all the kaos of Jovie being here I wanted to do something special with my buddy just me and him. My mom came over and watched Jovie for me and I took my buddy to Chickflia which is one of our favorite places to go. We laughed talked in peace without Jovie needing something, it was nice like old times. He got some food and wanted to play in the play area, so of course seeing that it was his day I of course let him. I sat there and watched him and enjoyed watching him play and thinking how big he is getting and that soon he will be turning 7. My baby turning 7 made me very sad to think he is growing up so fast.

After a while I bribed him out of the play area with dessert, he got to pick his dessert of choice of course. I believe he got a brownie sundae, he truly is his fathers son. They both are brownie peanut butter crazy. LOL

I enjoyed the few hours that I got to spend with him, I couldnt have stayed longer since I was still nursng her even if it was just a lil bit.

Pool Play date

Yay summer is here and what better way to spend a day then at a pool. We had a playdate at his friend Noah;s house. It was awesome we had lunch for the kids all the mommies talked and the boys played in the water and had so much fun. Me and Jovie sat in the shade , she was such a good girl for me.

Havasu w/The Burtons

So we got invited up to The Burtons house in Havasu and it is so much fun everytime we go!! We sit around and relax and enjoy the wonderful weather and pool.

We were a little worried about going this year because of Jovie ,but she did wondeful. This was her first long car ride and stay over. We headed out I sat in the back with Jovie, we took my parents van instead of our suburban seemed to fit us perfectly for that trip. We packed what seemed like everything ,but the kitchen sink! LOL Why do babies need so many things, its just crazy to me. She mostly slept all the way there with occasional cries when she was hungry. God truly blessed me with such a good lil girl.

We finally got there late at night, both Josiah and Jovie were out. I could say I was a lil bit worried about Jovie not sleeping at night since she had slept for most of the trip. We settled in unpacking the van and getting Josiah in bed. Now there are 4 of us so crazy to think about that. Josiah ended up sleeping in one room with Jamie and since I would have to get up and feed Jovie she slept in the other room in her bassinet next to me. I think she knew she wasnt at home she didnt want to sleep in her bassinet so after her 1 feeding in the middle of the night she snuggled next to me in my bed. Nothing like sleeping in bed with mommy, she went right to sleep! Lil stinker

The rest of the time she was such a good girl, slept most of the time. The weather was beautiful in the day not to hot nice enough for Jovie to be outside with us while Josiah and Brooklyn played in the pool. We always have fun going there and hanging out with The Burtons. I couldnt help it, I got the cutest swim suits for Jovie knowing she wasnt going to go in the pool anyways.
