Kellies Birthday Dinner

Tonight January 21, 2012 we went to Jamie's parents house for a birthday dinner for my sis n law Kellie. I can't believe she is turning 29 wow where has the time gone. I remember first meeting her at the baby age of 15 years old, I think I am aging myself by saying that! So his mom had made some appetizers to start of; Brushetta & Shrimp salad something ( didnt pay much attention because I am not a fan of the seafood)
We had Roast beef, Baked Potato's and green beans, for dessert we had the traditional ice cream cake (Mint Chip Ice Cream & Chocolate cake) yummmm!!

It was a great night of hanging out with family and enjoying family time; we also watched the Sandlot.
Josiah was such a Big helper and brought Kellie her cake all by himself he was so proud.

So my usual Friday's I help out in Josiah's school, usually in the Lab. So the night before I had text the moms of his lil friends and asked them if they wanted to do a play date. Josiah had been wanting them to come over and play in his room for a long time. So me being the crazy preggo mom I am, I decided to bring them all home with me....lol! A total of 4 boys including Josiah...yep preggo brain. The moms were funny and made sure I was positively sure about it before going home. I figured how hard could it be right? They actually are a bunch of good kids and I am glad that Josiah has his lil friends and I love the moms as well.  So I made them Pizza and they played in his cool room on the slide of course. Daddy sure scored when he build him that bed.

Thanks to Ms. Deanna & Ms. Lisa they helped clean the room before they left .....what awesome moms they are.

Dream Night 2012

Tonight was Dream Night a annual event we have for our business. It is a night that we get to dress up and have a fancy dinner; it was held at the Anaheim Marriot. It is such a wonderful night to get together with friends and fellow business partners and dream. The speakers were Joe & Norma Foligio & Jim & Judy Head. Some of the funniest speakers World Wide has, I loved their candid talks and they helped us dream build. I truly believe if you just work hard enough you can achieve all your dreams.

Mom & Dad Anniversary 40yrs.

Today was my parents 40th Anniversary, what a blessing to have such great examples in my life. My parents are what I hope and pray my marriage will be like, they are an amazing example of a Godly loving couple. My sister decided to cook them a special dinner and we went over to her house for dinner. The Menu was:
Pot Roast
Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans with tomatoes and cheese
Corn on the Cob
Strawberry pound cake thing that was incredilbly delicious.
She out did herself for sure!
I made a banner for them and then my sister had a picture book made for her with all of our families pictures, it was a great gift and my parents really loved it.

Monster Truck Jam 2012

On Friday of this week my wonderful sister had helped me organize my scrapbook craft area. She did such an a amazing job.

I was so excited for Saturday night....we were taking Josiah to his first Monster Truck Jam. He could not wait to go he asked me all day when that time was gonna come. LOL

It started at 7pm so we waited for Jamie to get home, finally he was able to get off early. We waited and carpooled with our friends the Burton's.  Then we met up with our friends Laurent & Cris....huge Monster Truck fans. We had awesome seats on the Terrace which was close ,but not to close.  We arrived and Josiah's face was so classic , he was mesmerized buy all the action going on. The pictures pretty much tell the story of a lil boy that was amazed by these massive machines.

Tiny's Grooming Appt.

Today was like any other school day, dropped Josiah off at school. Then I had a follow up Drs appt for my upper respiratory infection. She ended up giving me an inhaler since I wheeze at night still from this nasty sickness.

Then took Tiny to his grooming appt., he needed one badly. He got a nice haircut and bath.

My Ultra Sound Appointment at Kaiser

Today was one of the best days of 2012 so far.....I mean today was the day we were going to find out what this little bundle of joy was going to be! Today was also the First day back at  school for Josiah, he was excited to go back and see his teacher Mrs. Hathaway and see all his friends he had missed very much.

My appt was at 12:30, so I dropped Josiah off at school at 11am and waited for Jamie to get home so we could head over to the appt since they do like you to be 15 min early to the appt. While I was waiting for Jamie my instructions from Kaiser was to drink 24 ounces of water and 1hour prior to my appt. So i downed 24 ounces and then some people had told me to drink caffeine before so the baby would be awake so i did. All in all by the time I got to the hospital I had to pee so bad it was ridiculous. That's what i get for over drinking, and of course Kaiser is NEVER on time we waited 20 min over our appt time at that point if I moved I was going to pee on myself. Although I did not find it funny my lovely husband couldn't help himself. FINALLY they said my name....sweet Jesus thank you. I kindly asked the technician if I could pee because there was NO way I would handle her pushing on my bladder as she looked for the baby!! She kindly said YES ,but please only 1/2 of it...ummm WHAT? How do I only do half ....how do I as a woman stop my flow of pee midstream! LOL Well God was gracious and he helped me stop midstream and I only emptied half. :)

Finally I thought to myself I get to see the baby and know what it is........yeah try after what seemed like an eternity she was finally ready to call Jamie in the room for us to see the baby. I curiously asked the Technician what she had been doing that whole time and she stated she had taken 60 pictures of the baby, pretty much everything. I was amazed no wonder it took so long ,but I was glad they did because that means they are looking to make sure this baby will come with healthy.

Ok moment of truth Jamie walks in and sits down and she turns the scream so we could see the baby, this baby is soo precious we see two arms, two feet, nose , its lil mouth opening and closing like it was taking a drink of water. PRECIOUS just PRECIOUS!

Then she said would you like to know the sex...ummm YAH!! Well see these three lil lines...yes?
ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!  My heart was filled with soooo much joy and I saw Jamies face light up , I told him congrats your gonna have a baby girl. God could not have blessed us any more, we waitied a long time for her and she is perfect and Gods timing is perfect in every way.

Then we got out and of course I had to call the WORLD and tell them our good news.

Later that night our good friend Cris & Laurent invited us out for dinner to celebrate our amazing news.. We went to Claim Jumper, it was delish we both had Chicken Pot Pies and Josiah had a grilled cheese sandwich. They we so nice that they bought us a gift for the baby as well....they are too much.

Taking Down Christmas Decorations,. ;(

Well seeing that it was January 8, 2012 i guess it was time to take down the Christmas decorations it was nice to finally clean up the house and put everything away. Although Christmas is my favorite holiday and i enjoy decorating so much. After many hours and cleaning we were finally finished and needed to run some errands.

First errand we did was take Tiny to get his Rabies shot , Petco was having a shot special from 1-3 so we headed over there. Then we headed over to the mall , Jamie was looking to spend some of his gift certificates from Christmas.

Earlier that day my sister had called me to see if I could come and pick up a microwave cart that her sis n law Nikki had given to us. I was so excited to finally get a newer one, our was falling apart and was pretty much handed down from my mom and I want to say it was at least 20 yrs old. So we headed down to Cypress to pick that up....woohooo!!

We headed over to the Burtons for Dinner they had made Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Mash Potatoes and salad dinner was DELISH. They supplied the food and I supplied the movie, we watched Hang Over 2. My review I would say it had some funny parts and some ummm interesting parts and I will just leave it at that! LOL

All in all it ended up being a Great Day!

S.A.M. Machine & Dinner w/Guzmans!

I was excited about today, we had an Artistry business meeting on a new machine, the S.A.M. machine or the Skin Analysis Machine. This machine is amazing it shows you the skin damage 3 to 4 layers deep. Of course I was anxious to try it out so they had you clean your face and put it in the machine.

This was my face cleaned with the Essentials Cleanser!

I guess the positive thing is to look blue if your skin was white and patchy you were dry. Since I have been using Artistry for many years my skin looked great expect for a couple of clogged pores.
After this they told me to put on the higher end line to see if their was a difference so I tried the Time Defiance toner & moisturizer.

What a remarkable difference i mean i already use the products and I am sold on the higher line. As you can hopefully tell after putting on the toner and moisturizer which in ONLY on the right side of my face you can now tell the difference between the two sides. The right side is much smoother and the left side is a little bit whiter which means the Time Defiance did an amazing job of hydrating my skin even though I didn't know I needed more. It truly is an amazing machine and I hope to one day show all my customers that skin care is a must , soap and water just doesn't cut it. Your skin deserves to feel amazing.

Later that night we met up with my Best friend and her family for dinner. We went to one of our favorite places, Mongolian BBQ it was a great night of laughter and friendship; not to mention amazing food.

Last Friday before school starts!

Today our day started with a Dr.s appt for Josiah just as a check up from his past Asthma appt he had ,  about 2 weeks prior. The Dr checked him out and all was well with him, he put him on a new medication for his asthma so I am praying that this one will help him even more.

After that we headed over to My Giggle Place in Fullerton, its a cute lil indoor play area for kids and we met up with two of his little friends Noah & Jeremiah. We stayed there for a couple of hours and let the kids get out most of their energy. Josiah was hungry after playing so much we decided to order some pizza from Giovanni's and have lunch with daddy at work. I stayed for a couple of hours at the Shop helping Jamie out a little bit with the phones and working on some computer stuff for him as well.

Jamie had some setting up to do for that night, for their first annual business mixer that Jamie, Brian, Bobby and Mike put on. It turned out quite well with a great turnout and I was proud of Jamie for working so hard to make that happen. They had  snacks, an air hockey table and a WII to entertain the guests. I don't think I had ever seen the shop look so clean, I mean you could eat off the floor. LOL (maybe)


I decided since that was going on I asked Jodi if she wanted to go and take the kids to the discount theater in Brea and see the Muppet Movie. It was a cute movie and we had a great time with the kids. After that I went back to the shop and hung out with Jamie and helped clean up and while that was going on Josiah had fun playing on the WII.

Today I was invited on a play date with some of Josiah's friends from school, which he has missed for two whole weeks. LOL

He was so excited to see them...we met up around 9:30am ( which was early for this sleepy mama..haha) and we had never been to that park before so Josiah really enjoyed himself. The day turned out to be so beautiful even though it was 77 degrees at 10am in January, nothing like California weather. 

The kids played and I had a lovely talk with all the mommies, I am enjoying getting to know the mommies of Josiah's friends. They are such nice ladies and I am excited to see what the future holds in our friendships.

After a couple of hours of play we decided that on such a hot day we needed some ice cream...so we headed off to Yogurt land for a yummy cold treat. I would say we are all such responsible moms giving our children yogurt for lunch! LOL


Then we were invited over to Jeremiah's house for a little play time, I love the  fact that we all live a few minutes away from each other. 
They have a gorgeous house with a HUGE backyard that was perfect for the boys to get into mischief. It was nice getting to know Kate (Jeremiah's mom) , she is a lovely lady and I am glad I am getting to know her better.

After such a fun filled day Josiah was pooped for all that play time.....and that's just how this mama likes her kid nice and tired! LOL

A day to Pamper myself! :)

Usually on Wednesdays my mom likes to take Josiah so he and my niece Lexi can spend time together. 

So our morning started off quite interesting I had an appt. to take Bear and Tiny in for there monthly or so .....grooming appt. We had taken them to this little groomers in Brea called Chateau Le Pooch, its a small business and being that we own a small business as well we thought we would go back and support them. After making my appt prior and speaking with someone there i hauled Bear & Tiny in the car which that is no easy task to get a 170lb Mastiff in the car.

So we walk in and then the lady proceeds to ask how much Bear weighs i tell her about 170lbs she said oh there must be some mistake we can not do it for the price we quoted you. To make a long story short I gave her a lil piece of my mind and was very disappointed in her customer service. After calling around i was able to get an appt at PetCo which God turned it into a blessing because they raved about what a good boy Bear was so I was a proud mama. Tiny will have to go back as he needs a up to date Rabies shot before we can get him in. I can say i was happy with their customer service at Petco.


After that i ended up dropping Josiah off at my moms, and since i have the BEST husband in the world i ended having a little pamper session with a much needed Manicure and Pedicure. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated! The Best part of my day was when i got home there was a nice little package for me...my Christmas present from Jamie. It was a cute little silver and white Coach bag.:)

A much needed Playdate!!

 My Day started off with a last minute play date with Kirsten, Bailey & Taylor. We met up at Ford park in Fullerton at 10am, it was a much needed girl time with one of my greatest friends. It was long over due in my opinion, always seems like we pick up right where we left off after not seeing each other for long periods of time....it was really nice. The kids played while we enjoyed a nice talk over some donuts and oranges. Watch out because when 2 preggo ladies get together you get donuts and oranges for breakfast.

Today i also had my monthly Pre-natal appt, so i dropped Josiah off at my moms and off i went.
After sitting there for almost an hour ( gotta love those Drs office) i was finally seen. I spoke to my Midwife about this cough i have had for over a month now. Turned out that i had an upper respiratory infection, no wonder i haven't felt great for the past month. She put my on some antibiotics which i didn't even know you could have when you are pregnant ,but Thank the good Lord above that i can. They took some blood to do the prenatal 2nd Trimester screening....i have faith that this baby is developing just great. After the diagnosis we heard the baby's heartbeat.....the joy is unexplainable to hear that baby's heartbeat inside you. Today it was 150BPM.....and some great news since my last appt i have not gained any weight. Pat on the back for me, i guess its because i haven't been able to eat much not because i don't want to that's for sure.


Thank you God for this lil Blessing inside of me.

Rubys Diner in Huntington Beach! January 2, 2012

The day started off as any other day.....Jamie not knowing how much of a holiday today was he opened the shop. Thank goodness he decided to come home and take a couple of hours off to spend some time with me and Josiah.

We met up with our good friends Laurent & Cris at Ruby's Diner in Huntington Beach for some dinner. The sunset was beautiful and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be considering it was a holiday. We had a great night and then my hardworking man went back to work to finish what he left. He is so selfless, i don't know many men who would sacrifice their time like that.

New Years Day 2012

Today was the first day of 2012....what a better way to start the year then to start a journal of the every day occurrences that happen with the Fifields.

We started off the morning with some breakfast from Coco's had a lil bit of a craving for some Boysenberry Pie one of my favorites...what can i say this preggo lady needed some pie.

After that we decided since Jamie was home to have daddy help Josiah learn how to ride his bike w/o training wheels. After many tries and lots of whining......my lil guy who just turned 6 finally became a BIG boy on his bike.

After that we headed out for pizza and a movie at the Burton Castle.....we saw The Help what an amazing, heartwarming movie.
